The Learning & Development Supervisor will implement industry-leading learning & development programs for Westoba Credit Union. In this role, you will be required to assess current learning and development systems, develop and maintain Westoba Credit Union\xe2\x80\x99s Learning & Development Program, implement measurement tools, and provide feedback. This position is also required to conduct research to identify specific employee training needs.

A day in the life as a Learning & Development Supervisor:

• Analyze overall organization and employee training needs; and develop training programs as needed, or modify existing programs to meet specific organization and employee needs
• Assist Manager, Human Resources with establishing a detailed annual training budget for each department and overall organization
• Plan and implement employee development and training programs using a variety of methods that may include demonstrations, conferences, virtual training, meetings, workshops and on-the-job training
• Evaluate current training programs and instructor training methods to identify weaknesses or shortcomings and provide recommendations for improvement
• Guiding managers and supervisors in developing training skills
• Develop procedures for evaluating and testing employees, including new hires
• Discuss training needs and goals with management on a quarterly basis to establish training needs based on projected changes, production processes and other factors
• Develop training and educational materials for current employees and new hires, including visual aids, multimedia tools, training booklets and more
• Maintaining records and providing participants with feedback
• Oversees all Learning & Development operations to ensure a positive overall employee experience
• Leads the Learning & Development team
• Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) for the organization
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors
• Create learning & development metrics to effectively evaluate Westoba Credit Union\xe2\x80\x99s Learning & Development Program
• Support the Manager, Human Resources in achieving department & organizational goals and objectives
