We are looking for a Learning & Development Intern for a full-time 1-year contract position. This position will work Monday thru Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
The Learning & Development Intern will develop and create engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, micro-learning experiences, videos, quizzes, presentations, and other multimedia content using tools like CreateStudio 3, Canva, and ADP Workforce Now LMS. The Intern will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of staff onboarding, training and development initiatives by creating engaging, high-quality learning content.

What we need from you:
Post-secondary education in instructional design, education, human resources or a related field.
Certificate or diploma in eLearning development or instructional design is an asset
Proficiency with digital tools such as CreateStudio 3, Canva, and learning management systems is an asset
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Strong collaborative skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, balanced with a passion for supporting and working within a team and are committed to a collaborative, attuned, strengths-based approach to problem solving.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to clearly explain instructions to others.
Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong research and project planning skills
High level of attention to detail and superior problem-solving skills
Ability to use computer, and various operating systems and applications (MS Office Suite)
Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential data
Satisfactory criminal background check (CPIC)
Must possess a valid drivers licence with access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel when required
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required

THRIVE Child Development Centre/Centre de developpement de l'enfant is an incorporated, non-profit Children's Treatment Centre made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, therapy assistants, early childhood educators, ABA Therapists and support staff.
