Your area of focus.
The Coordinator, Learning & Development (L&D) is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of learning and development programs across AutoCanada Inc. This includes managing training logistics, maintaining learning systems (e.g., LMS), tracking participation and outcomes, and supporting facilitators and subject matter experts in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
What drives your day-to-day?
Manage all L&D communications, including, but limited to training requests, training invitations, reminders, post-training evaluations, and certificates via the learning mailbox and SharePoint.
Prepare and maintain L&D records, including budget tracking, program evaluations, attendance records, learning calendar, and facilitator schedules.
Liaise with learning partners, including managers, operations team, and training vendors to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
Coordinate end-to-end execution of L&D projects by developing project plans, setting milestones, managing cross-functional tasks, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
Coordinate and gather feedback from learners, facilitators, and stakeholders to improve program design, delivery methods, and learner engagement.
Handle venue booking, trainer scheduling, participant registration, materials preparation, and technology capabilities.
Compile attendance, engagement, and feedback data to assess training effectiveness and provide insights to stakeholders.
Act as the subject matter expert and lead on all learning management software including uploading course content, monitoring completion rates, and generating training reports.

Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with HR, trainers, operational leaders, and external vendors.

Flexibility to adjust to changing training needs, technologies, and business priorities, particularly in evolving operational environments.

A learner-focused mindset that ensures participants have a positive, supportive training experience.

Ability to track, interpret, and act on training data to evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements.
