Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

The Leadhand is responsible for relaying clear work directions to their assigned crew as communicated by the Foreman.

$37.29 - $43.62 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)

JOB DUTIES

Ensure all work being performed by the crew complies with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards Provide the crew direction as communicated by the Foreman Facilitate the creation of Safe Work Permits prior to the commencement of a task Promote a work environment in compliance with site quality standards and procedures Identify and communicate requirements for specific materials/tools Ensure the timely and accurate submission of timesheets May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

CSTS-09, CSO, or BSO Must have knowledge of stringing pipe Must have knowledge of fitting up pipe ends Must be physically able to lift 50lbs Able to work well in a team environment Organized and self-motivated
