As the Leader, Capital Conservation Grant (CCG), you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a core team of professional and administrative staff that coordinate and manage service and grant program delivery. You will ensure accountability for the City's investments in community and civic partners and responsible stewardship of City owned assets. Primary duties include:Build and manage complex partner relationships with respect to Council's Policy in management of the Capital Conservation Grant.
Guide staff in the management of the grant programs and oversee decisions made in the distribution of these funds.
Oversee the deployment of grant capital and operating resources to ensure The Corporations objectives are achieved in accordance with Council policies. Includes but not limited to project and resource planning, budget development, implementation strategies, scheduling, priority assessment, risk assessment, mitigation strategies and corrective action plans.
Manage and respond to Council, General Manager and Director inquiries as they relate to the CCG program and service delivery, as well as community issues and opportunities.
Advise and provide direction to complex partner issues related to reputational, legal, structural and facility related issues and financial risk to the Corporation.
Provide strategic leadership for a team of professional and administrative staff dealing with complex and often politically sensitive issues.
Manage and direct staff to ensure business unit strategic plans, goals and outcomes are achieved as related to the division initiatives and corporate goals and objectives.
