Job Description

As a Lead Technical Analyst, you will be reporting to the Application Management Director.
To perform this position, you need to have a thorough knowledge of the corporate data system, the various sources that are used to constitute this data and the tools used in the corporate applications.
Also, you need to have a sound understanding and skills in big data, computing, and the new technologies.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience are required for this role.
Also, you will be working with offshore suppliers and internal teams of diverse backgrounds worldwide.
The current technologies deployed include market leaders in the IT domain such as Salesforce, Oracle Financial Suite, Business Objects, the Kenan Telecoms Billing and are predominantly hosted on the major cloud providers.

What you will do:

• Being accountable for gathering, managing, and analyzing requirements to design new application changes for own areas of responsibility ensuring sufficient effort is made to promote "vanilla" functionality.
• Identify the relevant data sources for various business needs and get buy-in from all business stakeholders.
• Collect this structured and unstructured data, to meet specific needs and solve business, commercial, and IT problems.
• Apply predictive models and extracting business insights and providing actionable initiatives
• Propose process enhancements and automation by using Corporate Data, building machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
• Being accountable for ensuring quality solutions are delivered to business users on time and budget and mitigate risks.
• Manage the delivery, testing and support of application changes related to own area of responsibility ensuring an effective collaboration with the other teams (IT teams, business and vendors).
• Participate in communications strategy plans and project plans as required, including Steering Committee reports and lessons learned. Accuracy is the key.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Strong mathematical background, with numeracy and analytical skills with ability to identify trends, patterns, and insides of data.
• Ability to analyze, model and interpret data
• Minimum of 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in deployment or support of application software, implementing systems and modules with experience of multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• You have a track record of success in data modeling and problem solving in the logistics, pricing, commercial or IT environment.
• Very good knowledge of the various computer, mathematical and statistical programming languages: Java, C++, Python and Mathematical Optimization Packages such as CPLEX, AMPL and Xpress Mosel.
• Good understanding of Data Visualization and associated tools and familiar with the various databases such as DMX, NOSQL and/or Oracle/PostgreSQL as well as major statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent group communication skills such as leading discussions, briefing sessions, forums, and telephone conferences. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels i.e. in detail with technical staff/providers and in summary with senior management to communicate complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner.
• University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.
