THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a member of the Global Marketing Operations team, the Lead Revenue Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Marketing function at OpenText. The incumbent will excel at compiling data, turning it into actionable insights that will assist leaders in decision making. They will assist the team in driving programs aimed at improving processes, systems and operational performance across the responsible area while understanding global implications.
This role is an 18 month contract position which will provide direct support to the Sr Director, Revenue Operations, delivering analytics & insights to assist leaders in running the business. The role will be an essential interface to the corporate Marketing Operations function and other functions including Sales, IT, etc. A successful candidate will be a person who enjoys working with a diverse set of stakeholders, gathering, and managing the requirements of the business, and working to enhance process & reporting solutions to give the most benefit to our end users.
YOU ARE GREAT AT:


  • Interpreting business critical reports across all channels and key performance indicators in collaboration with marketing and operations teams and other sales leadership stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis of business issues through database querying to capture data, followed by relevant analysis and interpretation of results
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business drivers and an innate grasp of business metrics definitions, and pro-actively interact with stakeholders to give context and help them better understand reporting data
  • Contribute to the delivery of models that provide clear visibility and a shared understanding of the drivers of pipeline (leading and lagging indicators). These models should provide visibility and alignment into pipeline targets and progress against those targets for the entire Sales & Marketing lifecycle (inquiry to revenue).
  • Work with VPs of Marketing and stakeholders to deliver strategic reports to help them make informed decisions. For example, are we investing in the right programs? Do we have enough pipeline for next year? , Which events are working?, Why is pipeline increasing/declining?, etc.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership around sales & marketing processes & operations
  • Assist with design, implementation and review of any initiatives required by the Marketing Ops Leader
  • Provide analysis & insight on management dashboards to facilitate effective understanding of progress, achievements, and gaps; includes lead analysis, pipeline analysis, closed deal analysis, account segmentation, etc.

WHAT IT TAKES:

  • Strong Knowledge of lead management processes and demand generation workflows. Experience executing or supporting the execution of Marketing strategies is an asset.
  • Expertise in reporting on B2B Marketing data and related processes (Campaign reporting, Marketing Attribution, Marketing events performance, BDR performance, etc.).
  • Strong research, analytical/decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled with Excel pivot tables or Power Pivot
  • Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business KPI's for reporting
  • Experience with Marketing or Sales Operations, strong financial knowledge
  • Direct reporting experience with SFDC is nice to have but not essential
  • Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with business leaders and technical teams
