What will your days be like at LGI Healthcare Solutions?
As a Lead QA in performance testing, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality, stability, and responsiveness of critical healthcare applications. You will be responsible for defining, planning, executing, and analyzing performance tests across multiple products, while supervising an offshore resource dedicated to executing and maintaining test scripts. Your contribution will help guarantee the scalability and reliability of software solutions, while influencing performance practices within the organization.
How will your contributions be showcased?
Design and management of performance tests:
Define, plan, and oversee load, stress, and endurance testing campaigns
Guide and support an offshore resource in preparing, executing, and maintaining JMeter scripts
Ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of deliverables produced internationally
Prioritize activities based on risks, product maturity, and deadlines
Diagnosis and in-depth analysis:
Use advanced tools like Dynatrace to diagnose performance issues
Analyze test results and identify application, system, or network bottlenecks
Provide clear, concise, and action-oriented reports to technical and product teams
Simplify findings to facilitate understanding and technical decision-making
Collaboration and performance culture:
Work closely with Product, Development, and Infrastructure teams
Promote the integration of performance requirements from the early stages of software design
Help establish a performance engineering culture within QA and R&D teams
Train and raise awareness among developers on best practices for measurement and optimization
Continuous improvement and innovation:
Adapt testing strategies to new architectures (microservices, containers, distributed environments)
Research and experiment with new measurement and monitoring tools
Contribute to process modernization and technical knowledge sharing
Qualifications
What you will bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to succeed in the role:
Education and experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 5 years in application performance
Strong understanding of distributed software architectures and multi-platform environments
Proficiency with testing and monitoring tools
Proven experience in performance diagnostics and communicating results to diverse audiences
Collaborative leadership and ability to supervise a remote resource
Key technical skills:
Testing and automation tools: JMeter, AutoIt, Windows batch, Linux bash
Diagnostic and monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Azure Insight, PerfView, SQL Profiler, Sysinternals, Wireshark, Netstat
Systems: Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu, Oracle Solaris
Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
Application architectures: .NET, Web
Virtualization and containerization: VMware, Docker
Cloud: Microsoft Azure
Networks: Citrix, RDP
Core competencies:

This position requires bilingualism, as you will work with documentation in both French and English and communicate, orally and in writing, with French- and English-speaking partners, clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
