As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Lead Purchaser to join our dynamic team and take charge of all procurement activities--from sourcing critical components to managing vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute the full purchasing cycle for parts, materials, and components required for fire truck manufacturing. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and inventory teams to ensure alignment of materials with production timelines. Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse staff to forecast and maintain appropriate stock levels. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks. Implement purchasing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive or heavy equipment). Post-secondary education in supply chain management, business, or a related field considered an asset. Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components is a strong asset. Ability to work on-site in Centreville, NB.
