to lead the procurement of building materials, hardware, pipes, tiles, and flooring products. The ideal candidate will develop reliable supplier networks, negotiate competitive pricing, and strengthen our supply chain to better support our expansion in the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute purchasing plans to ensure a stable and timely supply of materials.
Source, evaluate, and establish long-term partnerships with new and existing suppliers.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve cost efficiency and quality assurance.
Monitor order progress, logistics, and delivery to ensure on-time fulfillment.
Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities in the Canadian and international markets.
Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and finance teams to improve procurement systems and processes.
Prepare purchasing reports and cost analyses for continuous optimization.
Qualifications:
Experience in purchasing or supply chain management (building materials, hardware, or decoration industry preferred).
Strong skills in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost control.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
