Our client is a major maintenance and installations contractor for manufacturing and processing industries. We are supporting thier growth in major Saskatchewan markets by leading the search for a skilled Lead Instrumentation Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting various instrumentation and control systems. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their operations, requiring both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be located in the Weyburn, Regina, Estevan area.What you will be doing:Maintain and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of equipment.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.Work collaboratively with industrial electricians to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.Conduct low voltage wiring tasks as needed for system upgrades or repairs.Detect malfunctions or irregularities in instrumentation systems and implement corrective actions promptly.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding technical issues.SkillsStrong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and principles.Proficiency in maintaining logic controllers and related instrumentation equipment.Familiarity with electrical systems, low voltage applications, and schematics interpretation.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly.Strong communication skills to provide effective customer service and support within the team.Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.What you must have:Completion of Apprentice or Diploma ProgramMust have received Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician Ticket5+ Years working experience as a Journeyperson Instrumentation TechnicianProven Project Management skillsValid Driverxe2x80x99s License with a Clean Driverxe2x80x99s AbstractClean Criminal BackgroundThe ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol TestSalary/Rate Range: $85,000 xe2x80x93 $100,000For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
