The company designs and deploys standardized bathroom safety environments intended to materially reduce fall risk and extend independent living for older adults. Our work focuses on functional safety outcomes and environmental risk reduction for seniors and their families.

Role Overview



We are hiring a

Lead Installer

to run field execution for StayAble Care bathroom safety projects across the GTA. This is a

hands-on field lead

role responsible for disciplined execution, safety compliance, and quality outcomes inside senior homes.

Key Responsibilities



Lead end-to-end on-site execution of bathroom safety upgrades and shower conversion projects Conduct

in-person Safety Assessment & Measurement Visits

Execute core installation work including: tile removal/demo + disposal coordination LVP flooring install + transitions baseboard install (like-for-like) door trimming/cutting for new floor height tub removal + prefab shower conversion installs grab bar installs (stud/blocking + structural fastening) toilet remove/reset when required + raised toilet seat system install final caulking, finishing, cleanup, walkthrough Coordinate helper on-site and ensure smooth job execution Maintain clean and respectful worksite standards inside occupied senior homes Send

daily progress updates + photos

to management Complete closeout documentation: before/after photos safety hardware anchoring proof photos completion sign-off

Compensation



$320-$400/day OR $40-$50/hour

depending on experience and performance Consistent project volume available for the right candidate Performance-based long-term role (steady pipeline)

Qualifications



3+ years

bathroom renovation experience Strong demo + carpentry capability Experience installing prefab shower systems and executing waterproofing properly Strong judgment inside occupied homes (seniors) Able to run a project cleanly end-to-end with minimal supervision

Must be available for weekday starts (8-9 AM) with occasional Saturdays

Able to lift heavy materials and work in occupied homes (stairs, tight spaces)


Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

WSIB Clearance Certificate

(current)

$2M Commercial General Liability insurance

(COI required) Valid driver's license Own tools required for demo, flooring, carpentry, install Ability to travel across GTA Must follow safety protocols (dust control, PPE, containment)

Police record check may be required depending on role conditions (e.g., unsupervised work)


Safety Compliance (Strict)



This role requires compliance with strict dust control standards:

Wet methods during demo where feasible HEPA vacuum discipline Containment / protection of home pathways P100 respirator usage + seal check compliance STOP policy enforcement for suspect asbestos/designated substances

Probation



Initial

7-14 day probation

to confirm:

speed and workmanship quality reliability and execution discipline cleanliness and professionalism in senior homes documentation discipline
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $320.00-$400.00 per day
