Coverstar Canada is a market leader in the automatic safety pool cover industry, we are a growing company in a fast growing industry. We sell and install across Canada and are looking to add to our team.

Position Summary

We are looking for a new Lead installer in training with a proven track record of success. We are wanting to grow our group of technicians and are willing to completely train someone in a new field. The successful candidate will be responsible for Installing and repairing automatic swimming pool covers, Swimming pool industry experience is a plus but not a must.

Mechanical Aptitude an asset Construction experience preferred, but not a must. Swimming Pool industry experience preferred, but not a must. Excellent problem solving abilities Customer and quality focus Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) Responsibility and dependability Ethics and integrity Ability to learn new things Ability to work with a team and independently

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Install and repair automatic safety pool covers. Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, equipment, job sites, and shop Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner Other Duties as assigned or required as the business continues to grow.

Requirements:

High school eduction Capable of operating tools in a safe and responsible manner Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work under pressure Must possess a valid driver's license, with clean abstract Speak, read, and write English

Work Conditions:

All tools will be provided by company

Vehicle for daily job sites provided

Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and materials Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift. Ability to work in a fast paced environment Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
