Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and restoration techniques, demonstrating expertise in areas such as carpentry and general maintenance person tasks.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage projects, guide team members, and ensure high-quality workmanship in all aspects of residential construction.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Read and interpret technical drawings to execute project plans accurately. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely while instructing team members on proper usage. Collaborate with team members on construction estimating to maintain project budgets. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or restoration roles with a strong emphasis on carpentry and masonry skills is a must. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job. Must show proof on your resume of leading a team in a project. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Excellent English communication skills for effective team collaboration and project management. A valid driver's license is necessary for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
