Full Time Red Seal Carpenter Needed in Victoria, BC, Canada
Wage negotiated, based on experience between $35-45/hr

Special Interest in those familiar with ICF Foundations

Company Vehicle and Gas Allowance included with position
Full benefits package after 6 months employment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

oInstalls Sunrooms and Solariums to residential buildings.
oGlass glazing and installation to walls and roof systems.
oInstall structures such as doors, windows, hardware, locks, etc.
oFollow blue prints, building plans, and engineering speculations accurately.
oAdhere to city inspections and fire regulations.
oMeasure, cut and fix wood and aluminum materials.
oConstruct building frameworks, including, footings, support beams, floor joists, and door frames.
oInspect and replace damaged framework or other fixtures.
oInstruct and direct a team of labourers and construction trade helpers.
oCompletes work orders in a timely manner.
oProvides verbal recommendations.
oPerforms all work and duties in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures.
oPerforms other duties as assigned.
oCompletes work in a timely manner with efficiency and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

oRed Seal Carpenter Ticket.
oMust be capable of leading a team of 2-4 crew
oMust work well with residential customers
oExperience in carpentry, and/or glass glazing.
oMust be able to work in a fast pace environment.
oDemonstrated ability to set priorities.
oExcellent communications skills particularly in leadership.
oDemonstrated reliable attendance and punctuality.
oMust be able to work outdoors.
oMust have a Cell phone
oMust be capable and willing to use/learn Buildertrend
