Position Overview

As a

LEAD BARBACK/BATCH TEAM

for Miracle Toronto, you will craft and serve holiday-themed cocktails in one of the busiest seasonal pop-ups in the city. This role requires strong technical bartending skills, kitchen and inventory management systems, attention to detail, the ability to maintain pace under extreme volume, and a genuine love of hospitality. Batch Lead at Miracle bring both efficiency and personality, creating a memorable guest experience while keeping service seamless. This person must be able to drive between two locations Harbourfront & Bloor St West.

This is a high-energy role that requires stamina, teamwork, recipe building, heavy lifting, long shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Craft Holiday Cocktails

Execute Miracle's cocktail menu with speed, precision, and consistency. This bar operates at high volume (often as fast as a busy Starbucks), requiring excellent organization and clear communication.

Guest Engagement

Bring the Miracle spirit to life by greeting guests warmly, making recommendations, and maintaining a festive, joyful presence behind the bar.

Batch Program Support

Collaborate with the batch team (reporting to the GM) to ensure stations are fully stocked and service runs smoothly during peak hours.

Maintain Cleanliness & Organization

Keep your bar station stocked, clean, and organized to ensure quick turnaround and safe service.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with fellow bartenders, barbacks, servers, and supervisors to maintain seamless service flow across both locations.

Festive Contribution

Embrace the holiday theme--decorate your uniform (within guidelines) and contribute to the overall energy and atmosphere of the Miracle experience.

Qualifications

Holiday Enthusiasm

- Must love Christmas and enjoy spreading holiday cheer.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years bartending/Batching/Cooking/Prepping in a

high-volume

, fast-paced bar or restaurant.

Cocktail Knowledge

- Strong foundation in cocktail preparation; interest in holiday and seasonal drinks is an asset.

Stamina

- Ability to work long shifts (up to 10 hours) while maintaining energy and positivity.

Availability

- Evenings, weekends, and holidays are mandatory, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

Communication

- Clear, effective communication with guests and teammates.

Certification

- Smart Serve (required).
