In this seasonal role, you will:
answer/screen incoming telephone calls and respond to electronic inquiries
schedule meetings and calendar management for managers
provide financial administration support through processing financial transactions
provide human resources-related support to managers with recruitment activities
assist with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other office-related documents
maintain and order office supplies
Please note: These seasonal positions typically start in the fall and end in late spring--with summers off!
knowledge of basic office tasks related to finance, general administration and human resources
ability to work with numbers to check spending, review expense claims, maintain accurate records
ability to use programs like Word, Excel, and email to create a variety of documents and reports
Organization and problem-solving:
ability to manage time and set priorities
organizational skills to keep work, records and files in order
ability to solve problems, make decisions, and fix errors
ability to schedule meetings, manage calendars, and keep track of office supplies
Communication and teamwork:
ability to speak clearly and share information in a helpful and professional way
ability to write and edit basic documents, emails, and letters; ensuring spelling, grammar, and formatting is correct

In this seasonal role, you will be compensated, in addition to your salary as follows:
5% of gross pay in lieu of statutory holidays
5.75% per cent of vacation pay-in-lieu for continuous service of less than five (5) years
6% per cent of vacation pay-in-lieu of vacation credits, after five (5) consecutive years of employment
