Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks focused on maintaining and improving the functionality and aesthetics of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be comfortable using both hand and power tools. This position is essential for ensuring that our grounds and buildings remain in excellent condition, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs, installations, and improvements. Engage in landscape maintenance activities including planting, watering, and general garden upkeep. Irrigate areas as needed to maintain healthy vegetation. Dig, build, and maintain structures such as fences or garden beds as required. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.

Skills

Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues. Experience in landscape maintenance, including gardening techniques. Ability to dig, build, and perform physical labor as necessary for maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3-4 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Weekends as needed
