By The Yard Landscaping and Construction Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time lawn and Snow Property Maintenance Supervisor to join our Saskatoon team. This position involves leading a crew through winter snow removal operations and summer property maintenance, providing year-round, salaried employment.

Position Details

Summer Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (8-10 hours/day), weekends off Winter Hours: 8- 12 hours weather dependent (minimum 3 days per week) Compensation: Salary based on experience
This is a working-supervisor role that involves managing and participating in the daily operations of a 3-5-member crew. You may haul equipment using a 16- to 20-foot trailer, coordinate routes, and ensure safe, efficient completion of all assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and work alongside the crew on commercial snow removal and property maintenance sites Safely operate trucks, trailers, and snow equipment (backpack blowers, sweepers, shovels, etc.) Ensure sites are cleared, salted, and accessible in a timely manner during winter events Maintain and service equipment, including fueling and basic repairs Monitor weather conditions and coordinate staff scheduling and response times Enforce safety standards and correct improper equipment use or techniques Perform and oversee lawn care and landscaping tasks during summer (mowing, trimming, fertilizing, etc.)
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's licence Experience hauling bumper-pull trailers Minimum 2 years of experience in property or snow maintenance Ability to operate and maintain zero-turn mowers, skid steers, and other equipment Excellent time management and attention to detail Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Physically capable of working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
