Overview

The Laundry Guys is a busy, community focused laundromat offering self serve laundry, wash and fold, commercial laundry, and dry cleaning services. We are currently hiring

two full time Laundry Attendants and one part time Laundry Attendant

to join our team.

This is a hands on role suited to someone reliable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in an active environment. If you enjoy staying busy, working with people, and taking pride in doing things well, this could be a great fit.

Duties

Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers and dryers efficiently and safely Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to type and care instructions Provide friendly, professional customer service Tag, track, and manage dry cleaning items Handle payments and basic point of sale transactions Assist customers in the self serve laundry area Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including sanitizing machines and work surfaces Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed Follow health, safety, and quality standards at all times Complete other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable with physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting laundry bags Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care instructions Good communication and customer service skills Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment Previous laundry, cleaning, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided

Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Must successfully pass a criminal record check

Schedule

Full time positions are 40 hours per week Part time hours will vary Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends

Compensation and Growth

Starting wage

$18.85 per hour

Wage is

negotiable for the right candidate

with relevant experience Opportunities for wage increases as skills and responsibilities grow Stable hours in a supportive, team based environment
Successful candidates start February 2,2025
