Duties

Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning tasks for delicate or special items using appropriate solvents and techniques Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies to uphold safety standards Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care to preserve item quality Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel to support overall sanitation efforts

Requirements

Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens and garments meet cleanliness standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization Basic understanding of safety procedures related to handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Pay: $17.45-$18.50 per hour
