The Backyard Nursery & Landscaping Ltd. is a small business in Victoria, BC. We offer lawn and garden maintenance services as well as small to medium size soft scape landscaping installations. Our goal is to provide a reliable, consistent and personable service to our clients.
Who you are
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and landscaping, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the landscaping industry.
Your day to day responsibilities
- Perform yard clean ups and landscape installations
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools for landscaping tasks
- Conduct garden maintenance including mowing, planting, weeding, and pruning
- Use hand tools effectively for various landscaping activities
- Dumping green waste at end of day
- Follow safety procedures while performing tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on tools, trucks and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience working outdoors or in a physically demanding job considered a strong asset
- Ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Full BC drivers license
