Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape installation practices. This role involves installing various landscapes, patios, gardens, and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain healthy and visually appealing. The Landscape Technician will utilize both hand and power tools to perform a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the landscapes.

Duties

Physical labour to install landscapes Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools effectively. Irrigate plants and landscapes as needed to promote healthy growth. Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls. Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and other vegetation. Running various small engine machines. Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment and tools. Experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required. Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics in landscaping design. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when necessary. A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
