We are seeking a skilled Landscape forman to join our dynamic team in Ottawa. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing landscape projects and ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are met. Your leadership will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional landscaping services.

Responsibilities

Supervise landscape installation and maintenance teams to ensure project completion on time Interlock Installation: Prepare and install interlocking stone, pavers, and retaining walls according to design specifications. Site Preparation: Oversee excavation, base preparation, grading, and compaction to ensure proper foundation for interlock projects. Oversee horticultural practices to maintain plant health Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscaping Ensure compliance with safety regulations on job sites Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations Maintain equipment and tools in optimal working condition

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction, with at least 1 year in a leadership role Strong knowledge of horticulture, interlock stone and landscape maintenance practices Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Excellent communication skills for client interaction Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping is an asset Valid Class G driver's license or higher with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
