Job Duties

Minimum 2 years of experience in the landscape enhancements industry Take initiative and make sound decisions on the job site Operate construction equipment (excavators, skid steers, earth movers, etc.) Tackle a

large-scale planting project

(trees, shrubs, and green things galore -- if you like working with plants, this one's for you) Hands-on work with fence repairs, tree planting/cutting, hardscaping, mulch installation, and patio stone projects Handle the physical side of the job: lifting, climbing, bending, digging Assist with excavation, grading, layout, and general construction labour tasks Perform daily preventative maintenance on tools and equipment (a well-oiled shovel is a happy shovel) Comply with all company policies and safety regulations Comfortable working outdoors in all weather (from blazing heat to "Canadian winter mode")

This is a

full-time, year-round position

: landscaping in spring, summer, and fall, transitioning to snow/winter operations when the frost rolls in.
