Lands Clerk

Interested persons who are wanting to learn more about lands management should submit their applications for the position of Lands Clerk. The position, reporting to the Lands Manager, will provide for local support to the ongoing efforts of the Lands Office for ACHO DENE KOE FIRST NATION. The person will play an important role in connecting the activities of the Lands Office to the community and supplying a presence in Fort Liard. The Lands Clerk will provide local knowledge in meetings with Government, engage with members to share information and inform members of projects happening impact their Lands. This position may be right for you if you are interested in determining how resources are protected and used, you are interested in promoting habitat restoration and stewardship, and you enjoy engaging with others to share local perspectives and hear feedback from the community. The Lands Clerk position is a part-time position that will be a minimum of 20-25 hours per week. The hours of the position will vary but at a minimum will be hours of 1:00-4:00 PM, Monday to Friday however the person will be responsible for additional hour coverage in the morning when meetings are work responsibilities require due to scheduling.

Starting Wage: $25 to $28 per hour dependent on education and experience.
