Job Description
Overview
Our client, a developer of Mid- to High-rise condominiums, is looking for a Development Coordinator to join their team in a full-time permanent role!
If you have an enthusiastic and driven personality PLUS you have previous planning or real estate development experience, this role is for you!
Excellent compensation package including salary between 80-120K per year and benefits package!
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the municipal approvals process including official plan amendment, zoning by-law amendment, committee of adjustment applications, plan of condominium, and all necessary construction permits.
- Coordinate external consultant teams' (surveyors, planners, engineers, designers, environmental, etc.) production of reports and drawings for applications
- Implement the condominium architectural and site design process
- Attend City and Public meetings
- Review reports and legal documentation to support the right approval process
- Prepare development schedules and checklists
- 1-10 years' experience in planning development
- Knowledge of Ontario municipal planning processes and statutory regulation
- Real Estate experience, degree in real estate or formal training
- High degree of attention to detail
- Strong business acumen and judgment including negotiation skills and diplomacy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with emphasis on relationship building skills.
