We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. In this role, you will be responsible for clearing snow from various surfaces to ensure safe access for pedestrians and vehicles. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency during winter weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Clear snow from sidewalks, and other designated areas using hand tools and power equipment.
Operate shovels and snow removal equipment when necessary.
Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including gardening duties during non-winter months.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize snow removal tasks based on weather conditions and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Experience
Previous experience in snow removal or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Experience in horticulture or gardening can be beneficial for seasonal transitions but willing to train between snow removal duties.
A background in construction or maintenance work is a plus, demonstrating the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. Join us this winter season to help keep our community safe and accessible!
