Position: Labourer / Shipper Receiver - Local Hire Project Type: Shop / Yard Project Location: Regina Shift: Day - Mon - Fri Accommodations: Local Only GC: Graham Allied Partner: Technical Workforce Inc. Reference Number: 22201
We are looking for a labourer to join the Regina Shop and Yard team!
Position Summary: Possesses the ability to learn and accumulate the necessary knowledge to assist the construction industry. Perform basic work activities while supervised.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identify and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
• Follow direction.
• Demonstrates understanding of hand signals.
• Demonstrates protocol for using radios.
• Green cutting with water.
• General clean up, sweeping, etc
• Set up fuelling equipment and refuel equipment.
• Set up propane heaters.
• Set up scaffolding.
• Prepare for each task.
• Organize equipment and supplies.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Identify necessary tools.
• Provide WHMIS ticket.
• Dewatering
• Traffic control (cleaning delineation, set up delineation, flagging)
• Remove snow
• Fuel equipment
• Set up fueling equipment.
• Running forklift, skid steer, packers, trampers, aerial lifts, etc
• Shipping / Receiving
• Organizing materials into categories - reusable, recycle or garbage.
• Recognize hazardous materials.
• Remove scaffolding.
• Assisting with inventory.
• Organizing and maintaining yard.
• Blowing out forms.
• Install safety fences and railings.
• Identify appropriate tools for necessary task.
• Handle all power tools.
• Read tape measure.
• Use, skill saw, drills, sawzall, concrete vibrator, compressor, jackhammer in a safe manner.
