Job Description

The Barrhaven Kumon Center is seeking a Kumon Early Learners Assistants to work 3 afternoons a week. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM).

Please do not apply unless you are amiable ALL of the 3 days.



The primary duty is to enthusiastically teach a couple of young students our structured academic program simultaneously. We will train the right person for the job but you must be a fast-learner.

Other duties include (but not limited to) helping the students to settle, correcting homework, data entry helping the receptionist when neede and any other duty to help the class runs smoothly.

Qualified candidates will possess the following characteristics:

-Experienced and love working with young children IS A MUST.

-Ability to enthusiastically teach children

-Patient but Energetic

-Ability to Multi-Task

-

Take initiative. You won't wait to be asked to do something. You will be where the help is needed.



-As this job will teach students phonetics your English pronunciation should be perfect.

Living in Barrhaven is a plus.

Long term commitment is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week
