Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to streamline deployment workflows.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, or TFS for continuous integration and delivery.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and underlying IT infrastructure using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or Elasticsearch.
Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure including cloud security protocols, firewall configurations, identity & access management (IAM), and disaster recovery planning.
Manage virtualization environments with VMware or OpenStack to support scalable deployment models across private or hybrid clouds.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, deployment procedures, and incident responses aligned with SDLC standards.
Experience
Proven experience working with Kubernetes in enterprise environments managing microservices architectures.
Strong background in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or OpenStack.
Hands-on knowledge of Docker containerization technology coupled with experience in scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Perl or Ruby for automation tasks.
Familiarity with configuration management tools including Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience deploying and managing enterprise software such as WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss or Tomcat within containerized environments.
Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, RESTful APIs, TCP connections and load balancing techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to distributed systems using log analysis tools like Splunk or ELK stack; perform incident recovery efficiently.
Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle; experience with disaster recovery strategies is a plus.
