Design, deploy, and manage container orchestration solutions utilizing Kubernetes in hybrid cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Maven, Gradle, and other DevOps tools to streamline software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Docker containers, web services (WebSphere, Tomcat), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Implement security best practices including cloud security protocols, firewall configurations, identity & access management (IAM), DNS security, and incident response procedures.
Conduct system testing, debugging, release management, incident management, disaster recovery planning, and incident recovery efforts to ensure high availability.
Collaborate with software development teams on requirements gathering for enterprise software projects involving JavaScript, Java, C#, Ruby on Rails, Python, Groovy, Perl, C++, and other programming languages.
Manage IT infrastructure components such as VMware virtualization platforms, OpenStack environments, UNIX/Linux servers (CentOS), Microsoft Windows Server environments including Active Directory and Microsoft SQL Server.
Perform log analysis using tools like Splunk or New Relic; analyze network traffic via TCP/IP protocols; optimize web services with NGINX or RESTful APIs; ensure system security through network administration practices.
Experience
Proven experience working with Kubernetes in enterprise settings including deployment automation with Terraform or similar tools.
Strong background in cloud computing platforms such as AWS (S3), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or OpenStack.
Hands-on expertise with Docker containerization technology along with continuous integration/delivery pipelines involving Jenkins or TFS.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies including VMware and Virtualization platforms for scalable infrastructure deployment.
Experience managing databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or DynamoDB; proficient in SQL/T-SQL/PL/SQL scripting for data management tasks.
Knowledge of scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Perl for automation tasks.
Understanding of network administration principles including TCP/IP protocols; DNS configuration; WAN/LAN management; network security measures.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to distributed systems and web services; perform log analysis; conduct system testing; support incident response activities.
