Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
Support the team in meal assembly and presentation, ensuring high-quality output.
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is a plus.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
