The Kitchen Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and food service areas. Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff towards common goals. Previous restaurant management or kitchen experience is highly desirable, including barista or hotel experience.
