Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation activities. Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Train new staff on food handling procedures, candy making techniques, and company policies. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance overall customer experience. Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff to foster professional development.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in kitchen management or hospitality is highly desirable. Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
