We are a modern-style Japanese restaurant located in Winnipeg, inspired by anime and pop culture. We're currently looking for

enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members

to join our vibrant team!

As a key part of our kitchen staff, you'll help deliver high-quality meals and outstanding service to our guests.
This is also a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning and practicing Japanese, as you'll be exposed to the language in a real-world setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with food prep and ensure timely meal production Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including proper food storage Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations Handle food items safely, including proper storage and disposal Support the team with a positive attitude during food prep and service

Requirements

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred Valid food handler's certificate Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Strong teamwork and communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Interest in learning Japanese is a big plus!
