Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in food preparation and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative when needed. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and support a positive work atmosphere. A passion for cooking and meal preparation, with an eagerness to learn more about the culinary field.
