Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and bussing tables. Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Support banquet operations by preparing food items for events as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and ensure guest satisfaction. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques. Experience in hospitality or culinary roles is a plus, including banquet or hotel experience. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
