About Us:

At District 22, we are dedicated to providing nutritious and appealing meals to our students from elementary through high school. We are seeking a dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our cafeteria team and contribute to a positive dining experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently. Assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining food safety standards. Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, including cleaning tables, sweeping, and mopping floors. Support kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure smooth operations during meal times. Follow all health and safety regulations as required by school policies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen or cafeteria setting is a plus, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Must have no criminal record and pass background checks as mandated by school policy.
