Job Description

Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time.

Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions

Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions

Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances

- Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances

- Use deep fryer, grill, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as hamburgers, fries, salads.

- salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand

- Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.

Removal of garbage and proper disposal of garbage, compost, cardboards and recyclables.
