Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks

Establish methods to meet work schedules Requisition food and kitchen supplies Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Hire food service staff Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Address customers' complaints or concerns Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare food order summaries for chef Train staff Supervise staff Participate in marketing plans and implementation Conduct performance reviews Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Provide customer service Set staff work schedules Plan and organize daily operations Monitor revenues to determine labour cost Evaluate daily operations Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English * Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
