Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Kitchen Manager

to oversee daily operations in a vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation. A background in food industry operations, hospitality, and team management is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Implement and monitor restaurant policies to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction Lead team meetings, facilitate effective communication among staff, and foster a positive work environment Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high service standards Assist with interviewing potential staff members and onboarding new employees Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health codes and safety protocols

Experience



Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles Supervising experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Experience in managing restaurant operations, including inventory control and cash handling Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus Barista experience or bar management background is advantageous but not required Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
