We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. The Kitchen Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen personnel. Implement menu changes and ensure consistency in food presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Handle cash transactions and manage the POS system effectively. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns promptly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar position within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and sanitation standards. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Background in hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience as a barista or in hotel kitchens is a plus. Must possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with others.
