We are excited to offer an opportunity to join Mon Ami Korean BBQ CDN as we are seeking a full-time Kitchen Manager to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong leadership and set a positive example for the kitchen team
Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service execution
Ensure consistent food quality by following standardized recipes, portion control, and efficient service procedures
Manage inventory levels, staff scheduling, supply ordering, and proper storage of ingredients
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff; assist with interviewing and hiring new team members
Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly to improve service quality
Collaborate closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction
Maintain a hands-on approach; act as the first point of contact for internal issues and handle minor equipment-related matters
Support all kitchen stations as needed during service
Qualifications
Passionate about Korean food and kitchen operations
Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant management or a food service leadership role, including team supervision
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Ability to implement and maintain cleaning tasks and schedules to ensure a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Willingness to complete a 3-month probation period as a line cook, with promotion to Kitchen Manager in the 4th month based on performance and demonstrated leadership
Interview Process
Two interviews: first with the General Manager, followed by a second interview with the Owner if applicable.

Collaborer etroitement avec l'equipe en salle afin d'assurer un service fluide et une satisfaction client optimale
Adopter une approche terrain; agir comme premier point de contact pour les enjeux internes et resoudre les petits problemes lies a l'equipement
Offrir du soutien a tous les postes en cuisine lorsque necessaire pendant le service
Qualifications
Passion pour la cuisine coreenne et les operations en cuisine
Minimum d'un (1) an d'experience en gestion de restaurant ou dans un role de leadership en restauration, incluant la supervision d'equipe
Excellentes competences en communication et en leadership
Capacite a travailler efficacement dans un environnement rapide tout en portant une grande attention aux details
Capacite a mettre en place et a maintenir des taches et des horaires de nettoyage afin d'assurer une cuisine propre et bien organisee en tout temps
Disponibilite a completer une periode de probation de trois (3) mois comme cuisinier(ere) de ligne, avec possibilite de promotion au poste de gerant(e) de cuisine au 4e mois selon la performance et le leadership demontre
Processus d'entrevue
Deux entrevues : une premiere avec le directeur general, suivie d'une deuxieme avec le proprietaire, le cas echeant.
