We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. Duties
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and cooking processes.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food handling, and adherence to food safety standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train and mentor staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Manage POS systems, including cash handling and transaction processing.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for kitchen staff.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar position within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
Previous experience with restaurant management or supervising a culinary team is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and training.
Background in hospitality or barista experience is a plus.
