Duties
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
Supervise staff training and development to enhance culinary skills and customer service capabilities
Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers
Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols at all times
Assist in shift management, including scheduling, staffing levels, and performance evaluations
Support catering, banquet events, or bar service as needed to ensure seamless operations
Foster a positive team environment through effective supervision, coaching, and interviewing potential staff members
Skills
Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
Strong knowledge of inventory control methods and food handling procedures
Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, managing shifts, and training staff in hospitality environments
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
Experience with food safety standards and certifications relevant to the food industry
Ability to manage budgets, perform food production planning, and oversee kitchen operations efficiently
Background in fine dining or casual dining environments with catering or banquet experience preferred
Familiarity with hotel or hospitality management practices is a plus
Demonstrated ability to interview candidates and develop staff through ongoing training & development initiatives
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
