We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while leading a team of kitchen staff.
Duties
Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Handle customer inquiries and feedback regarding food quality and service
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control measures is preferred.
A background in hospitality is a plus, along with any relevant certifications in food safety or culinary arts.
