Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage a team effectively and create a positive working environment.

Duties



Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring high-quality dishes are served consistently. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering professional development and teamwork. Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately using Micros POS systems. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Conduct interviews for new kitchen staff and participate in the hiring process. Implement health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health codes.

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques. Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Experience in various culinary roles including cooking, serving, and barista duties is advantageous. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team collaboration and motivation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. Pay: $17.50-$30.00 per hour
