We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities
Assist with setting up new business to become operational for dine in and cleaning commercial kitchen.
Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management
Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed throughout the kitchen area
Assist with serving food to customers or plating dishes as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and follow instructions carefully
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service and teamwork
