Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily food preparation and service. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that meals are prepared and served to high standards. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food handling, cooking, and meal assembly, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Help with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with food safety standards Serve dishes to guests in a courteous and professional manner Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Follow proper food safety procedures at all times to prevent contamination Assist in setting up workstations and organizing supplies for efficient meal preparation Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of meals

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations preferred Experience with meal preparation or cooking tasks is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills in the food industry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
